I found myself a very nice template online, so I shall spend some time modifying it to include all my random stuff that I have on this blog. Or maybe I'll just leave this blog as my graffiti blog or something. :) Haha.

Music: Amigo Vunerable - Enrique Iglesias
I'm seriously thinking about making my own seperate blog so that I can have my own private space. And I'm too lazy to write in a real-life journal (although that might be a good idea, since *some people* aka Mr my-name-can-change-more-than-360-times-in-one-day Aziz seem to be unable to read my normally scrawly handwriting. :) But ya. having some private space to escape to seems tempting enough. Only problem is that I'm too lazy to create another blog or wordpress or whatever. Haha.
Enrique Iglesias's spanish songs are nicer than his english ones! Dimelo is nicer than its English counterpart, Do You Know, and Amigo Vunerable is nicer than Tired of being sorry. I guess his spanish is more fluent and that makes the music more fluid and smooth... Haha
I feel random, but I feel tired too.

The Sound Of Music, distorted.

WIND IT UPPPP!
Ok that was random. I'm feeling randomly happy now :) Our group got
2nd place for Parody finals!!
we got 57/60 where marks are concerned, although it is pretty annoying that we apprently lost 1st place over a stupid cup of seemingly oversignificant coffee. Right. Anyway King Lear was pretty good, we beat Deader than Fiction and King Lee (the other 2 litra groups), so we're like.. on par with litra! yay us :)
I don't know how on earth the first grp that performed got into the finals, and the teachers apparently liked that fact that they supposedly dived into the "musical" genre. So here's a tip to all lit groups in the future.
USE SONGS FROM PHANTOM OF THE OPERA IN YOUR SOUNDTRACK!
haha. ours had no sounds at all hehe. we made our own music! (chang chang chang chang chang chang hyaaaa! it's chinese opera!) and oh ya. jeffrey's 5 second stint as wannabe Rihanna XD ella.
-ella.
Haha. Today we had the 800m swimming test, and although I was feeling ultra tired from parody finals last night, I managed to complete all 32 breadth-laps XD I'm ready for Tioman! Haha. Anyway while I was chioning to finish my 32nd lap, I felt a minor cramp in my right calf, and 1 minute after playing polo, my leg decided to be great and went into ultra cramp mode. While painfully trying to float to the side with 1 foot, 1 dying foot and 2 tired arms, Clement took a shot at goal. The ball came of the crossbar, hit my head and fell straight to Joseph who proceeded to score. YAY. My leg still hurts :( :(
Oh well, today was a better day than I expected.
Chem was fun cos as far as I'm concerned, redox isn't bothering me yet, since I memorised the whole ion list for that test last time. (I got full marks for that test XD).

I'm in a significantly better mood than yesterday,
but still very worried.
But anyway.
During lunch, I whacked my left arm against the ground and hit my funny bone. The scientist who decided that that nerve that causes you immense momentary pain in your arm should be sacked. There's nothing funny about it. Unless Dr Funny-bone-inventor was a sadist. Anyway, my arm was vibrating and I was lying on the floor watching the purple balloon go back and forth back and forth ><
Psychedelia is rampant in class three L.
Random quote by Felix after he caught sight of Leon and my excessively scrawly handwritings on our debates planning piece of random paper.
"Eh can you two write less cursive ah?"
A short introduction to Felix, for the clueless. Felix is EVIL. If he is marking any of your class work, BEWARE. Felix will stop at nothing to get your precious marks deducted. Call it evil, call it sadism; I prefer to think that the best call I can ever make is to keep my homework far, far away from his grasp :) But aside from all the homework, Felix is a nice guy lah :P
Oh yah he and I are the only 2 people in class that write left-handed, but Felix writes with his papers at absurd angles. I'm talking about the top of the paper at obtuse angles :O OBTUSE! That's like, greater than 90 degrees.! I only tilt the paper at most 60 to 80 degrees to the right, since I don't use the absurdly :O hook method of writing that Daniel and IAN use. Anyway, that means the top of the paper is lower than the bottom of the paper when you look at it from the top. :
Felix is in my debate group btw. So is Leon and Shanghai. I guess we have the capability to win Jun Sean's potentially inferior team. POTENTIALLY. Of course, they have Jun Sean, the future politician slash chinese orchestra coinesseur (how do you spell it, i'm too lazy to check). We are debating on a totally abstract motion, THBT the end justifies the means.
Firstly, =.="
Secondly, =.=""
Thirdly, =.="""
Lastly, <-- insert picture of fainted diao face here.
No, seriously.
But, but, but, but, but, but I shan't reveal anything here lest the loyal spies of Jun Sean conduct espionage on this potential fountain of secret information ala public domain.
ZZ. Anyway here's something random. I mean utterly random. The Branston Lowry acid is one which releases H+ ions in the presence of water during ionisation. Drawing analogies, if water = noooshy (go figure out what this means. and no tagging about this bit ><), then the H+ ions could actually be analagious (even if that isn't a word, whatever.) to Ha+e ions. Hence in the presence of watery-brained nooshies, we release Ha+e ions. So that means we're Branston Lowry Acids. Ooh, isn't that great. T_T
I like my orange pen.

But more importantly,
I lost my mind.

I can't seem to stop recounting random OBS memories, but it somehow goes with my current mood, which is pretty sad and depressed. But I guess I don't really show it, it's pretty hard to be pissed off by person after person, sad about well, the sheer 0-valueness of certain people in my life, and depressed over nothing more than perception, and YET stay focused and serious and emotive during the parody grading T_T. I guess the parody was pretty well done on our part, but there's like.. not much exhiliration for me, cos leave that LT, and I'm back to the boring world of 10-item long homework lists, and people that just make it a point to piss me off with stupid i'm-damn-f**king clever insinuations.
:(
It's the second time I've begun and ended a paragraph with :(, but that's how I feel, I guess.
Just.. deflated.
I have millions of stupid pieces of homework to do.
Left hand, right hand, I'm going to write until my screwed up cross-dominant hands can't take it any longer.
My right handed handwriting looks like total crap now, but I don't care. As long as I can write.
I want to fly off to some faraway place to sit on some beach and relax, relax relax.
It's bloody WEEK 9.
There's that stupid piece of Stupid Shit assignment to do. Why the hell we would want to interview someone who went through NS still evades me. I think we should experience NS ourselves and not draw any generalisations or get any, i repeat, ANY prior conceptions and ideas about NS, before we actually get there. Like when my brother got stung by some random bee that hit a fan, got damn pissed and stung him during his sec 1 ge camp, lol walking into that same BB camp one year later for myself was pretty surreal.
Talking about surreal, Leon was going on and on about his weird dreams of time travel. Ben Yap was dreaming of some cleaner at some temple going on and on about world war 2 or something. But I had a pretty weird dream too. Come to think of it, I'm not sure what was going on in my dream cos at this point of time, I've kind of forgotten it. But I think I was ultra ultra pissed at my brother for some obscure reason and we were fighting and then some other random stuff about going overseas and all and whatever crap, and I woke up, and I knocked into my brother who just-so-happened to roll on to my bed, and there was silence.
No screaming, yelling, whatever. Just silence.
Surrealism is so close to reality.
I am very troubled. :(

Flashback for a bit.
Today's constantly falling rain invokes pretty depressing memories lingering in my head.
The freezing rain invokes some sort of melancholic feel that you can only experience sitting dead isolated in a pathetically constructed basha as the rain storms down on you like meteorites. I seriously, seriously don't know how or why I get such a feeling, but you get extremely emotionally depressed during a cold, rainy day :( As in, normally I am extraordinarily random, but if this is where my randomness points me, well, haix.
OBS has such a gloomy, moody feel to it when the rain comes down hard.
As the rain sinks, slides and soaks into your pristinely brown, mutilated PE shirt, your body freezes and your mind numbs and all you can think of is reaching shelter, reaching shelter, reaching shelter, and when you finally reach the precious protection of the OBS canteen, you sit there soaking and shivering and nothing much else. Just shivering, soaked, maybe indulging in a mental soliloquy of sorts, but basically thats it.
:(
But sometimes you aren't as fortunate. Camp 1 is a luxurious 20 star hotel compared to the other, less attractive campsite. Imagine tossing and turning in your basha half in, half out, worried about whether you'll get wet at night, worried about whether you'll roll out at night, worried about whether you'll get bitten by the ever-so-intimidating prospective sandfly invasion, worried about anything under the sun, or rather, the stars; even worried about Yishu causing you permanant sleep problems with his constant "annndrewwwww.... insecttt repellanttttt".
I passed him my attratively decorated insect repellant bottle once every half an hour until I gave up at around 1.40 in the morning when I effectively ignored his constant plea for sandfly protection and went to sleep. Or so I thought. The rain came down hard. Being half in half out of the basha, I had been half taking refuge under a spare groundsheet. I was rudely awakened by freezing cold water running down my leg, and I sat up and scrambled into the basha next to blow and looked sad :( Not my-dog-just-died so I'm brimming with ethos (or is it pathos) sadness, but the quiet, early morning melancholy, like sitting quietly together without much expression, and you enunciate a toneless, expressionless "It's raining... what's time is it?"
We, assorted 3L people mercilessly mangled among 3Q people, are united by the two seemingly unimportant, insignificant "Tock Seng" watch name. United we are as we clamber down the staircase of a hundred steps (and yes, Blow, Yishu and I counted). We reluctantly abandon our precious water bottles and other randomly miscellaneous items that we brought to our basha. With nothing but dripping wet, sandy, grimy ponchos for shelter, we make our descent down to the multi purpose hall.
The MPH was sandy, but the sandy was nothing compared to the alternative of slimy, sinking mud atop the mountain of a hundred steps. It was freezing cold, but the cold was nothing compared to the alternative of being freezing cold, freezingly wet and emotionally drained. At least the MPH provided emotional solace; an extremely minor source of heartwarming heat. I froze during the night, but survived the storm. For the day. But, honestly, I had nothing to use as a blanket. Our ponchos were drying and all, so it was like spending the night in an ice tub.
The rain pummeled us throughout the sea expedition, spared us from unsightly sunburn, but condemned us to an unforgiving frostbite of sorts. Being flatfooted, my feet were in unbearable pain from water shoes 1 and a half sizes too small, given to my by my one-year-older brother, after his own OBS expeditions. I took of my shoes in the kayak to relieve some of the pain, but what I was really afraid of was that they floated right out of the kayak, never to be seen again. But the unyieldingly brutal storm diverted our attentions to something much more important, getting to shore safely.
The rain is catharsis in nature.
After hours of suffering from the slightly acidic, dibasic droplets of precipitation, I feel extremely gloomy. And melancholic, and all. And I just feel extremely sad for no particular reason. Just sad at looking at the black sky, sad at looking at the raging thunder, and sad at squeezing out the excessive amounts of water in my PE shirt. And sad that it doesn't last.
¿Dímelo por que estas fuera de mi?
Y al mismo tiempo estas muy dentro
Dímelo sin hablar y hazme sentir todo lo que yo ya siento.
Do you know what it feels like loving someone that’s in a rush to throw you away?
Do you know, do you know, do you know, do ya?
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know the lock on the door has changed?
I don't love the downcast feeling.
But it's an exceptionally strange feeling.

Music: I forgot to bring my Neeon to school. Along with loads of other things.
I didn't bring my neeon to school. I didn't bring my pencil case to school. that meant: I didn't have any pens for chem cct. I didn't have any correction tape for chem cct. I didn't have any stationery. and that's just great. Oh did I mention, I woke up at 7 FRICKING AM and wasn't late for school? :) I reached school at 715 and met zhongren while walking along hurridly near the RJ bus stop =)
Heyheyyy!
But chem CCT was extremely stressful for me. :( I almost didn't do 2 full pages cos I missed them. I managed to see them, but it was 8.28 already. I thought the test ended at 8.30, so my handwriting literally went from average to exceedingly bad. And since I didn't have correction tape, the whole place was one mess of words, cancellations and lines. :) I managed to save myself though. And oh yes, the test ended at 8.50 @_@
GRAAAAAAHHHH.
Today was also incidentally the 6th RI lecture. We applauded for the nonexistant guest of honour three times, and by the time the Mr George Yeo, minister of foreign affairs, came in, we were all like -.-" already. And I had a hard time keeping awake :( not that it was THAT boring, but haixx. I just don't like long speeches, long dialogue sessions and well, lol. Ok. Anyway. After we hypothetically awoke for some briefing for overseas immersion program.
We were definitely still sleeping. The guy was like, your last day of school is 3rd october and we were all monotonously replying "yaaaaa..." (NO SARCASM INTENDED!!) lol. My thesis statement of the day is that minsters of foreign affairs have the same hynotical powers as certain chinese teachers! When speaking, they mysteriously release hynotic tranquilising gases which render listeners helplessly entering an extremely well-durated slumber. To prove my point, whenever such hypnotic people start speaking, affected victims immediately start sleeping and awake exactly when the speakers stop! Amazing!
Yeah right.
But anyway apparently those forced to go for today's briefing are "potential psls" ooh!! Anyway we get to choose to go to India, China, Vietnam etc. to do like.. mini SL there. Which is quite ok, and quite fun too since its overseas.
"You only need to pay for the airfare" is the most deceptive statement ever. If you're thinking like, 100 dollars, 200 dollars, dream on. To do to this mysterious Chang Chun place, its 1000 dollars +- and yah. And I'm still convinced Chang Chun is some ancient village where all the buildings are arranged into one long line. :) But ya la some other places are quite ok, like Vietnam is about 400+ and all.
But they failed to mention which airline they were booking.
If, for 400 dollars, we went to the airport and the teachers hoarded us over to the Tiger Airlines terminal --
I'll just leave that hanging there. =) bye

THREE HUNDRED
It's my blog's 300th post! Not a lot compared to some others, but still quite a milestone since some of my older blogs were decimated due to their politically inappropriate content. Yup :) So anyway, this blog post will be ultra long where I can pour out all the random thoughts floating about in my head. Yay. I read the "Rafflesian Times team of the season" yesterday, and it was, in my opinion, pathetic, due to 2 reasons. Firstly, the RT team of the season should have been titled team of last season; as the new season kicks off, all the news there should be aptly labelled as olds. Last season is long over, long gone and yah. Secondly, the commentary and selection choices were, in my opinion, highly cliched and favoured the top sides and top players more, paying totally zero tribute to unsung heroes of other lesser clubs.
Anyway, today we had a pretty good parody rehearsal, although I'm pretty irritated with Jon Lim. Out of the 2 rehearsals so far, Jon Lim has attended none of the rehearsals due to various reasons. As such, we have been forced to adapt, and he is becoming more and more obsolete with his continual inability to attend our rehearsals @_@. In fact, he can make good props and thats one of the reasons why we actually chose him, but nooo so far he has contributed nothing. Gah. Doesn't seem very right :( But anyway I'm doing 2 extremely random parts but I guess that goes with my utter randomness, and I guess I feel pretty confident about our parody. Lol from strangely misplaced falsettos to a random spasm of beatboxing, I'm like some variety show attraction. Whoopee.
Anyway, I should post a picture of my right handed handwriting. It looks like rubbish now, wow. I'm amazed but a bit annoyed cos I can't effectively switch hands and write when one side gets tired like I tried to do during Lit cct today, which was an extremely rushed 25 mark 2 part essay on unseen poetry or prose. I chose poetry, my mantra is never choose prose, it's too boring and hard to understand, especially since prose usually has a fixed storyline and subject matter, so you can't crap something up and argue with your life for your pathetically fantastical point. But anywa if you've seen Brent's handwriting before you haven't seen anything yet. Lol I should post a picture. But I don't know how to use the new scanner and I can't be bothered.
I wonder why I'm writing this post in excessively long paragraphs. I guess its just the lit essay habit :( Zz. Yawn. Anyway, I wonder why some people are so obsessive. I guess we all are, but some people are so much blatantly obsessive, mercurial and O_O. But whatever.
I'm pretty obsessive too.
I'm absolutely infatuated with sleep.
Gdnite.

English Portfolio V - Inferiority
The seemingly cynical musings of this blog post are made with reference to the massive storm of articles flooding the weekend TODAY. These articles have been downloaded, compiled and re-uploaded and can be accessed HERE.

(Not-so) Live action from the English Premier League: one of the most glamourised activity where millions of clueless spectators scream at 22 grown men kicking a small white ball.
(and here the word count starts).
One of my favourite conversational topics is soccer. I love comparing opinions, rattling off statistics and making bold decisions on the upcoming Man U versus Chelsea match. In fact, I can recite random facts about almost any league in the world.
However, one of my least favourite conversational topics is Singaporean soccer. These discussions usually end up in #1 awkward silence, #2 awkward silence or #3 more awkward silence.
For instance. One day, I went up to my friend and inquired: "Eh, do you think Alberex Niigata can beat Geylang United tonight, ah?".
I was greeted by awkward silence.
In today's TODAY paper, I counted 9 long pages of commentary, predictions, information and analysis on the upcoming EPL*. Full colour pictures of smiling managers, smiling players and smiling pundits adorned the countless pages of knowledge from the soccer gods.
Oh, I also spotted half a page on S-League soccer with a badly taken shot of some Malay (or is it Indian) manager that I have never seen in my life. The paper says his name is Sundram-something. I think. Sorry, but We the citizens of Singapore (well, most of us) can't be bothered with Mr Sundram-something, and five minutes later, if you ask us who V Sundramoorthy is...
Awkward silence.
Let us silently contemplate. What IS the difference between the EPL and relatively inferior Asian leagues such as ours? The EPL has extensive media coverage, excessive publicity, expensive-but-who-gives-a-damn sponsors, and the explosively charismatic faces on and off the pitch. Meanwhile, the S-League is represented by virtually unknown Mr Sundram-something and receives 11.112% of the media coverage that the EPL does.
Don't you just hate that feeling of inferiority?
Just a while ago, Singapore bravely held world-class Australia in a friendly match. These Singaporeans are a representation of the footballing standard of Singapore, and these Singaporeans chased, sprinted, slid and dived every time they caught sight of the ball, AND not to mention, the Australians praised Singapore for a match well played.
Is this inferiority?
People might argue: the EPL has Rooney, Ronaldo and a myriad of talents in all departments, and meanwhile, Singapore goes insane cheering for Lionel Lewis, Aide Iskandar and 20 other foreign-talent players whose "Singaporeanisms" have come under question
Yes, this seems like inferiority, but we're catching up.
We too CAN learn from this polarisation phenomenon. Even though there is huge gap between your personal S-League and the EPL of your life, YOU CAN CATCH UP. For example, If your studies suck now, 5 years later, you might just be the genius of your class. If you can't kick a ball straight now, just wait. 5 years later, you might just be a football prodigy.
You'll never know.
But anyway, strip everything down to the bare essentials, and you ultimately get 22 men kicking a ball in an utterly overhyped game of brawn, a tiny bit of brains and, who can forget, the screaming fans to cut out the awkward silence
And that's all that matters. Hopefully.
(five hundred words exactly)
*for the uninitiated, EPL is an acronym for the English Premier League.

DISCLAIMER: Any formatting errors are purely not my fault :) It's the first time I'm trying to use a table to put to pictures side by side =D Which is quite O_O since tables are like.. SO primitive, but ya..
Anyway.
Today's parody rehearsal was great haha we had a good time and got quite a lot done =D hopefully we can make it to the finals yay. Lol I hope the judges don't see our parody as a spastic load of slapstick rubbish, but hey :) Simon Cowell once said to Blake on um.. Bon Jovi week (?) yeah think so. Anyway he said: "I think that half the audience loved your performance and the other half absolutely hated it, but it was the right thing to do" :D :D :D Drawing any inspiration yet?
Haha. Oh yes. I feel random and happy too :) I managed to finish my CEP work before the utterly haha-inducing (<--- what on earth is that??? Tonight is random night, and nothing's gonna get me downnnn.. heyyy! sucking too hard on your lollipop, yeah love's gonna get you downnnn!!) dateline of 11.59 TONIGHT! It's officially 11.52 on my computer clock and I've already sent my pictures to Mr Soon so I'm safe, and the utterly dumb -50% homework penalty is not going to bother me one bit =D If you're wondering, CEP is not all monotony with lines and lines of meaningless code flooding the pages. This random assignment requires us to upgrade our living room scenes by adding lights to simulate day and night. My room in itself is a random hodgepodgey weird uninhabitable (is that the right word) place where only freaks, aliens or friends-of-aliens would reside in. And here are my pictures!!!

THESE PICTURES AH, I PUT IN A LOTTT OF EFFORRTT OKAYYYYYY?
Yay.
Haha.
Here's more proof of my sheer randomness today.
10 random things I did today:
1. I tried doing a submarine pitch with Leon's delifrance wrapper. I can throw the thing more or less straight yay.
2. I ate an italian bmt at subway, but realised I HAVE NO EARTHLY IDEA WHAT THAT STANDS FOR.
3. I did my chinese powerpoint :O and it looks quite nice actually.
4. I kicked a softball on my living room floor barefooted thinking it was a tennis ball. ><
5. I RE-WROTE over all my answers in my chem mock cct after I realised I was writing in pencil. :P :P 6. I dropped my neeon, screamed and almost got a heart attack. But my neeon is a SURVIVORRRRRR :D
7. I watched Cincinnati Reds vs LA Dodgers baseball match and fell asleep after they were tied 4-4 in the last inning. When I woke up, they were still tied 4-4 WOW.
8. I fixed KC's links menus for him haha.
9. I played Mama by MCR about 10 times since I heard it for the first time and it was ultra catchy :P
10. I'm going to cook noodles or something. I'm hungry.

Haha haven't posted in a relatively long while all thanks to the ever present CCTs, assignments, tests, GRADED assignments (now now, theres a BIG difference between an assignment and a graded one, an ungraded assignment usually ends up crumpled, destroyed, decimated or even vanished, whereas a graded one is the exact opposite. It's GRADED, you see? Haha the sheer power of a lowly 6-letter word XD)
Anyway, my GPA so far is much better than last year. Last year was my worst academic year everrrr but this year, I don't have anything lame yet enticing to grab my complete and undivided attention away from my work. <-- wait that sentence doesn't seem to make sense, but YOU GET THE POINT :) Anyway, all my GPAs for the subjects that I've gotten back so far are 3.6, 3.6, 3.6......... everything is 3.6 :D Haha. I missed 4.0 for chem, bio AND maths by a few % each, so I'm happyyyyy :) Means I'm getting somewhere :D
Um anyway I felt extremely random and came up with the distortia theme for my flickr showcase on the right :) But somehow it makes sense, with all the graded rubbish throwing you into a dizzy frenzical spin towards possible failure. And if there is one thing that can't be erased, it's a super crap grade on your progress report sheet, and you are going to DIEEE unless you want to become like.. a radio DJ like Paul, where all you need is to portray your friendliest image on air. Haha.
Anyway, I had more distortia photos like the bishan swirl thing that's the watermarked bg image on my chinese project XD, and a really, really cool distorted picture of a bus stop in front of a boxy HDB flat. Haha. It just doesn't look nice when it's big, so ya I will probably try and take another one. And another. Until I get something nice to show. By the way. Try and guess what this is. It's in my distortia series, but it's a portrait photo, so it doesn't actually look nice on the sidebar. But here it is anyway.

What is it What is it What is it?
A prize for the winner, not that there will probably be any.

Running is an acquired taste that I'm never going to get in the future (near, far,
Anyway, I feel somewhat accomplished even though I didn't get into the top 50, because I still made it under the 25 minute mark, and got 1 PRECIOUS POINT FOR BAYLEY wahaha. Oh ya. On the final stretch before the finish line, I saw Kieran (the prefect), and 2 other Buckley guys in front of me, and even Nabil was running and motivating Kieran. :( But anyway I practically killed my legs by going into hyperbooster mode and sprinting past them all XD haha. I beat the Buckley guy just before the finish line yay.
If I'm not wrong, I was thinking shitshitshitshit must get at least a few places higher for Bayley!! So I went into Conan's barbaric frenzy and the Buckley's and Kieran. Come to think of it, as long as they got under the 25 minute mark, they would have gotten 1 point for their houses as well. So CRAP. My legs are sore, cramped and whatever for not much reason. Except for this really good one. Personal Pride :D ooh and maybe Bayley pride too XD
Its 7.40 in the morning. I need to go for Malay DMP soon.
Whee.

Today was an ok day :) I got highest in class (46 out of 50) for my 4.8k word (@_@) chinese book review thing on um.. that weird book that I didn't even have and had to borrow from Jun Sean (who doesn't even take normal chinese =P) Yay =D finally some relatively hard work pays off hehe. Pathetic, my chinese overall grade is only 72.9, but that's ok it's a 3.6 and I'm happy!
Yawn. Oh yes tomorrow is CROSS COUNTRY, and we are so officially screwed. I hate, hate, hate, hate running. No wait. Cross that out. We are supposed to moralise ourselves by falsely convincing ourselves that we like running! Mind over matter! Mind over matter! Mind over matter! Running is fun running is fun running is fun running is fun! YEAH RIGHT. Whatever. Apparently we're running at Bedok Reservoir park and oh crap. I need to find an official bayley shirt quickly! Crap.. Whew. Jie Qi just agreed to lend me his Bayley shirt cos he has first aid duty. JIE QI YOU ROCK :) haha.
Zz.
Oh yes.
warning.burning hot flames approaching.
I am absolutely, unequivocally annoyed and now I seem to be able to grasp my frustration and put things to words. You know how they say: aim for the stars, and even if you fall, you land on the moon..? WAIT. Or is it the other way around. Point is, don't you feel just utterly degraded when some space expedition targeted at the targeted at the stars crashes down to the moon, and you're on the moon. I mean, I don't like the feeling of being a safety net. Whatever.
Tell all the haters that they should just shut up and smile.
Only problem is that no one's smiling at you.

It's fun synchro-ing songs with zhongren during free period! but what else can we do :( we are desperate people. I mean, if the library starts loaning out like.. board games or something, then we would have something fun to do during free periods. but noo.. right now we're just bored. GEDDIT OR NOTTTT :) whatever.
Anyway I got highest in class for maths again! yayyy! this time I don't have to share the honours with Norman, but also this time I didn't do so well. But good thing our class isn't exactly the best class at maths! Or chem! Or anything for that matter. Except maybe lit. :D But never mind I shan't suan people here. Just that I feel super confident right now :D Lol. Yayyy :) :) Also, I improved on one and only one of my lit essays (the one that i got 19/25 for), and by including all Ms Chew's comments plus more rubbishy substantive, maybe I can get like.. really really high for once haha.
Random fact of the day.
I can successfully and neatly write anything with both hands. :) Yay me.
Everybody should try! try!
Then in the event that you fall down a 7 storey building and break your wrist or something, you can still write stuff.
