Haha. Bayley won dramafeste last night! Leon was great, but the script was even better even though the judges were like so totally "ugh, seen it all before" towards it. I mean, a great actor in play of shit, can go as far as shit. Agreed? :) Haha. Even though we didn't got nominated for like.. hardly anything, we won best play, and that's all that matters XD XD XD good job everyone including jotham-who-freaks-me-out :D
and nabil and the hullett people were all very sad :( so cheer up :D
but next year bayley shall own again!

i shall have a special handwritten (lefthanded, duh) post on 13th august. if you do projects on *related-stuff* like KC, please, please KC keep your mouth shut about what's so special on 13th august. :) ok? Finally I'm back to blogging ;) I haven't posted in a long long while except for that ridiculously short post yesterday while waiting for 3dsmax9 to download. So anyway, this post shall be one free of bitchy rants, red-hot fires of flaming. But anyway i've submitted 3 poems for Foyles (lol Geoffrey the enthu litra-er submitted 15 =.="). But here's some debatable issues.
#1 The thumb thing.. after trying out the test on about 6 clueless right-handed classmates, all of them have their left thumbs in front. So this is kind of rubbishy XD and no one that I've tried the test on has had his right thumb in front. Which goes to show how lousy that test is.
#2 About the counting thing.. how does pointing with your left hand make you more left handed. In fact it should be the opposite, since your left hand is supposed to have increased dexterity. Ehh my right hand fingers can hardly bend upwards independantly. lol whatever.
#3 Um in my opinion dominant eyes and hands are not actually very related, since there are heterozygous people who are cross dominant. ie. righthanded and left eyed or V.V. which is pretty normal.
Anyway, here's a tribute to all ambis and lefties, cos we're special-ler than 85% of the rest of the world! Yayyyy

music: the sharpest lives - my chemical romance
Haha we had a lot of free periods this week thanks to our english and lit teacher getting dengue and our maths teacher going to bishan gym for nationals. anyway, we had double pe on friday, and we won the soccer game 3-2 :D our underdog team won with brilliant goals and fantastic execution of operation maternity dress :) our team comprising unwanted players such as douglas, felix, geoffrey, jon shin etc. were up against the much stronger team with clement, joseph, clinton, kakiong etc.
Our goals came from a nice run and finish by Matthias, a stunning (I mean really stunning. Everyone was stunned that he scored) free kick from Geoffrey and the best goal that I ever scored besides scoring from a goal kick in primary 6 :) We got a free kick after Ka Kiong handballed and their whole team made a line in front of their goal. I aimed at the gap between their heads and the crossbar, and miraculously, it went in :) And what makes it sweeter is that it went over Paul's head, yes, Paul, he who tried to psych up my team by creating trouble by intentionally sliding into me even though I got 2 hands on the ball. ><
But anyway, operation maternity dress was a huge success!
it's an inside thing, you won't get to hear our secret routines of operation maternity dress.

and where's my LIGHT LUNCH?
besides contemplating eating the lightbulbs, I could see no other form of "light lunch" as promised by the lit teachers. in fact, this weird-guy-who-i-do-not-recognise gave us a plastic contained filled with berries, nuts and fruit! ms edelweiss yong disappeared with the contained and reappeared with a container filled with extremely appetizing AIR!
haiya. spent the 1.5 hours discussing mice and men... at first i was ok and feeling hyper, but then hunger took over, and i was like .............................. haha. and jotham freaks me out. he's not only the pint-size guy who busted a hole in my brother's old cello, but he's like Leon times 2! argh! argh! but anyway I took about 4 SIA post-its worth of notes, so I didn't entirely waste my time mulling over the mystery of the missing food.
lol. according to benyap, i'm now the angry angsty dunno what who likes soft toys. I don't exactly care, and haix. ok anyway I personally feel that the world is a dystopia and removal of certain unsavoury objects (i'm being extremely specific huh) will make my world a very much happier one. Soft Toys are cute and still are cute :) and they're better than pets cos they don't bite you and are furry and cute :) :) Ok. Full stop. Discussion stops here on my part.

lovestoned is super catchy :D and I like the cool video with the graphic equaliser and all. But anyway, I feel super, super SUPER stone today. School today was very nearly a complete waste of my precious, priceless time. We had bio, chinese, free period, recess, free period, free period (re was cancelled), lunch and then the talk by the us ambassador. Fantastic. If the US ambassador wasn't there, I could have gone home at 10, and even if she did come, I could have gone home and then walked back to school since my house is like.. how close to school? Lol.
Anyway bio was gory but gorily fun. We dissected ikan kunings, and norman mercilessly used the sharp scissors and sliced off the blood red fish gills. :X Oh ya we got to touch goat lungs, and some people got to inflate it with their breath :P haha. But dissecting is pretty scary. :X :X :X like murdering someone. X_X
Haha my chinese is having a sudden surge of proness :P After winning a seemingly insignificant merit award in the chinese zuowen competition, I found out that my bishan project which, in my opinion, sucks but rocks compared to some others, was zhan2lan3-ed at the hml as a supposedly good mother tongue project for this week's utterly exciting mother tongue week festivities :D :D ooh! Maybe I can get 5 more "culture" CA points so I won't have to go for some other boring lecture or whatever :P :P I'M EXCITED!

the sepia series and much much more
uploaded my latest flickr installment The Sepia Series to flickr yay. So far I've only chosen 5 or 6 (? not sure) to upload cos i'm quite sure the rest are not close to average and are like.. totally random and ugly. yup. go see if you're bored xD.
ok anyway cep was super super fun today :D we continued on our living rooms but this time, we had to make our own models of furniture that we were supposed to have downloaded from the internet. i modelled all my furniture myself and didn't download any so it was fun. now i have a self-made sofa and a super
ok another serious matter, today for assembly we had a briefing on subject options in RJC. nothing unusual, and the guy was pretty funny, keeping us entertained with his frequent pronunciation errors, but he seems like a nice guy :D only thing is he can't really tell the difference between mother tongue and mother thoung. XD. But anyway, the subjects there are like.. well.. some of them are just plain notforme!! like China Studies. Yes, China Studies. Well never mind. :)
haha. So far, I'm not sure if I want to take lit cos it's kind of a drag after a while, especially when you keep working to perfect your answers, grab the key points of romeo and juliet and go, find out what oedipus rex' tragic flaw is and throw the book aside, and so on. That's lit. We seem to be appreciating the texts less and less for their writing merits like we used to in lower sec, and the texts are basically no different from bio textbooks where you just mug the key points, key quotes... yeah so what if you need to be good at probing the storyline and reading between the lines. Haha. well, see if I change my mindset towards lit for now. But currently, lit is like weird.

Flirting with pain
Yay ok here's my 2nd post (1st, officially!) for today :D My left leg is still feeling weird. Like occasionally it's numb and other times it just feels weird. Yay. Now I have a really injured leg which means I do much without feeling getting some weird sensation in my leg. *Great* Haha. Ive been making interesting discoveries so far. Like how much easier it is to take good photos than to draw something nice. :) Haha. Not like my photos are that good, but it's better than nothing. Yay. With no photowhores inside. I pride myself in having a purely artistic Flickr account :D

searing pain has a new definition
pain! pain! argh :( my left thigh is like.. burning. haha not sure how else to describe it, except that it hurts a lot and has been hurting since after morning assembly, and it didn't help that I was stuck in long pants for the whole day until 3.30, and going for squash after that was worst. But i did quite well during training, so I'm happy :D :D Haha. I won 2 consecutive 2v1 matches against sec2s haha so ya. But my leg is dying argh argh :X :X

One Way
youth rally was fun!
haha woke up at 11+ then went straight to church only stopping by 7-11 to buy lemon barley and lemon tea 500ml bottles (discount :D). Besides that, I was brought my normal water bottle and later, they gave us 2 more bottles @_@. Hahahaha.
Anyway, we were split up into groups ooh. Our group was given the glamourous name Lays. As in not the Lays in Layshide, but the potato chips. Haha there were lamer names like M&Ms and Kit Kat so haha. Lol so I guess they were lazy or something so our group was the same as the majodi camp group except this time there was this extra guy, some Peter or something like that ya. Haha. Makes me wonder, if he had gone for the camp, maybe our group would have been different in some way (raises eyebrow) but nvm he's not like some ultra-vilent drug-dealer knife-wielding pai-kia so yeah :)

We played a weird but nevertheless meaninglessly fun game, and later drew a cool picture XD ours was the best! ours was the best! yay! yayyy!
hmm after that we went off to expo in this stupidly random bus of IRONY. Yay. After such a long while, I can finally relax and write a nice long blog post without rushing off to do some stupid major assignment or another. Now that both ERP and CRP is safely left to rot in Ms Chew's possesion :P, I can relaxx! Haha. Funny thing, in blogs, time is a hardly expressed entity. Anyway, I'm feeling very hot here, so I'll go move the laptop somewhere where a fan can blow in my face..

Ok anyway, my Neeon is dying on me. argh. it's not even a hard drive problem. The scroller is sort of stuck in some awkward angle, so I effectively need to use lots of effort to scroll down and, (here's the big part) to scroll up, I've got to scroll all the way down till I reach the "top". Kind of stupid. Oh yes. The scroll-up function has magically metamorphosized (wow, alliteration!). Now, when I scroll up, I jump somewhere and select! Yayy!
Ok haha. That was stupid and random. Anyway, I'm in deep contemplation on whether to buy an 4gb nano or some new creative model... T_T. The 4gb nano is currently $349 @_@, and the Zen Microphoto (the one i wanted before they conveniently ran out of stock and I bought a neeon) is $189. For 8 gig. But doesn't look that nice, but hey! I won't have to be worried about any scroller malfunction cos there is no scroller! muahahahaha. At least no sticking-out scroller. Heh.
Today was a fun day. During PE, we played soccer, yay! Our team was made out of soccer relatively-noobs: Geoffrey, Jeffrey and Douglas. The only guy who could actually kick a ball in the same direction twice in a row besides me was Jon Shin xD. Haha, BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT guess whattttt!!! We beat every single team yay!
First match we played against Li Young, Paul, Joseph, Ka Kiong, and some others. Basically everyone who could play soccer who was not "conveniently absent from school". But with our ingenious defensive tactics, we held them to a draw and beat them on penalties!! Yay. We did the same to the other, noobier team. Then we played against Li Young's team again and we beat them after about 30 seconds with a "where-did-that-come-from" goal from Jon Shin. Haha. And then we played Ben Yap's noober team and were defending like crazy but we drew. But we would have won the penalty shootout!! Considering I was feeling pretty confident after saving 4 penalties already :D :D :D Yay. Today was a good day.
Haha. Training was ok too. My squash racket felt like a badminton racket after playing tennis twice over the 5 day weekend xD but after a while it was ok, but I'm pretty unfit now, and I struggled to win in all my matches. 6-9 10-8 9-7 against Yikang, 10-9 against Yee Shing and a 9-10 loss to Michael. Lol. But hey I shall emulate Ben Low's obs spirit and be enthuboy and go for all the trainings that I can yay.

yay. after a multiple day hiatus, i'm backkkk. haha.
