A Better Sight Than The Previous One

Ok, I shall forget about the previous post for now, but I still can't get it out of my head. It infuriates me; brainless people who take me for their answer script/teacher. I DONT EVEN BLOODY DO WELL IN MOST OF THOSE SUBJECTS, AND IN MOST CASES, THESE RETARDS GET HIGHER THAN ME. Where's the logic? It's sending me a really huge signal that you're making use of me for your own betterment, and my detriment. As a Bio guy in our double science class, I say DOWN WITH PARASITISM.

Anyway, that aside, Mr Vetuz got me interested in reading up on Universities :) Apparently, he's flying off to St Andrew's University this september. No, it's not the one at Potong Pasir, it is, in fact "founded in 1413, the oldest university in Scotland" Oooo. Rich. Anyway, he's taking some medicine thing in the hope of becoming a pediatrician, so I guess that's why he's stocking up on lame jokes T_T to tell his young kiddy patients :) Lol, it's fun to talk to him on msn. glennyvz@hotmail.com if you were wondering.

Anyway, found out that I have to take "maths, one science and english at one sitting" of O levels or the equivalent, if I'm not wrong, to even apply for the SIA cadet pilot scholarship :P, so that means I will probably become like, some rojak science/arts student. Like lets see.. I don't really get the H1 H2 H3 crap, and I still don't get it, but I'll probably take something like what I'm taking now, like Bio, Chem, Lit, MTL, Econs, PW, KI or something like that. Maybe I'll swap Bio for TSD, cos Bio is like.. useless; Why you would consider metabolic rates on airplanes still deludes me, but chem makes sense. Like you would know what gases are coming out of your engine :) I'm not taking physics, though, so I'll have to like.. mug really really hard in RJ or even next year to get gd marks in Maths. Physics is basically maths with more formulas haha.

Anyway, I was wondering, why do you even need physics. Most of the stuff can and is thought during flight school. And flying airplanes is a mostly theoratical job. Looks like Mark Tan of 3Q, my kayak rudder, shares the same ambition as me, although he wants to go to the Air Force first. =.= Fighter jets are so freaky. Everything is relative, of course, so going at 3000km/h wouldn't seem too fast. But all those turns and formations are quite scary. If you bash your colleagues plane you are so dead. And so is your collegue, and your planes. =.=" You'll probably be dishounourably dead unless they decide to take it as a freak accident.

I hope I can get the scholarship :) It's a "hot job", says the SIA website, and there will probably be hundreds of applicants, unless 3/4 of the potential candidates were too stupid to click the link that brings you to the scholarships and employment page. Like, probably half of them were wondering why they kept getting airfares to KL and Phuket and the US, and wondering where else they could click. Maybe in their desperate attempts, they clicked the X button and said "To hell, I'm becoming a bus driver" That's what a pilot is, anyway. A bus driver that flies. Just that flying a plane is so much more exciting, so much more scenic too. Well.

Oh yes, if I really cannot get the scholarship, I'll probably try and get into UNSW aviation flying stream course, but that's in sydney. This one's in Singapore; it's home. Not to mention, the currency is NOT a few times of Singapore dollars. Dots. If you were wondering, knowing Mark, he's probably going to apply for all the best schools in the world, like maybe MIT where he can even build planes of his own, or even ERADB which is short for Embry Riddle Aeronautical dunno what in Daytona Beach in Florida. Supposed to be the best in the world. Hmm.
