Reflection
I haven't been playing much soccer, and I bet you if ask me to play keeper now, most of the shots will probably slip through my grasp. Haha, my form is on an all time low, went to play today at the concrete "park" with people. Bleah, lets try and draw some statistics and see where to improve on :)
Me.
Age: 14
My height: 174 cm (very short right =P)
My weight: 54 kg (im very light too haha)
I throw with: left hand
I kick with: both feet; i prefer to drop kick with right foot, everything else use left foot.
Specialise in: Saving penalties, free kicks, anything that involves long shots.
Gaping weakness: 1v1s
argh.
as you can see,
if you go like really close, the chances of you scoring against me is like, very very high.
bleah. lets go play soccer as a class, i really feel like playing soccer, but im too lazy to find time.
what about before we go watch survival singapore on thursday; anyone has a ball?

The suspense is killing me.
Shan't tell you why right now.
My brother wants to use the com to do his geog thing, and im trying very hard (minor stuggle, i suppose) to do my cep crap. c++ is really quite tough. Its not hard, but I'm not a C++ guy haha.
Im not saying anything else.
The suspense is killing you isn't it?

Bleah.
I'm getting to dislike squash more and more. It's really getting on my nerves. My previous match just summed up my frustration at this ridiculous sport. So, I was playing against Bryan Nah. I'm not playing these selection matches to get into the B-Div team this year, cos if I do, then I will most probably jepardise my chances of getting a place in Foster. So, simply put, my main intention is to screw everything up for the seniors; also known as playing for pride.
Bryan Nah is a sec 4 with this huge swing. As in huge. Its like he's trying to recreate the Niels Bohr theory of electron shells (is it niels bohr?) and the Neutron of the "atom" is the squash ball. Haha. Thats a false analogy, but seriously. He swing is proportunate to his size. Vertical size la, not the alternative. So, as you all know, I'm not actually very tall compared to Bryan Nah. I'm only 1.7something and he's probably 1.8++++ (note the excessive +s) However, size is no measure of skill hahaha so cliche remember Winston Churchill bleah.
Anyway, I was doing quite well, despite the fact that I played two long games against other seniors in the span of 1.5 hours. That may not seem like alot, but believe me, after your first match, it is hard to drive with the same power as before hahaha. Get a car engine to drive more consistently; argh that is lame. Anyway, I was doing very well, and I only lost the first set 9-7, coming from like, 8-2 behind.
Now the drama unfolds. The second set was another tight affair cos it was do or die for me. Actually not really die, but I just wouldnt have any screwing effect on him. Anyway, we messed with each other and hit the ball super super hard (I drive very hard haha) and the suddenly when the score was 5-5, he used his Niels-Bohr-Electron-Shell swing and whacked my wrist. So it was like dam pain (theres still this red line). So after that I couldn't return for quite some time, so he was up 8-5. Then I thought **** screw this stupid **** (when i'm frustrated, i get really really angry. Its just such a frustration sport.)
So I went into a frenzy and started driving just above the tin and well, just ram and unleash the anger. And guess what? The score was 8-8! At 8-8, we couldn't make much headway, and the score stayed like that for at least 10 minutes. I probably served about 10 times and he did too. Ok, so here's where tragedy strikes. When he hit the ball, I immediately went for it, but guess what? He apparently made this especially large swing on this occasion and whacked my stomach like.. extremely hard. You can imagine how painful right. And the worse thing is that he got a bloody stroke, so the score was 9-8 to him, **** it. It was so painful that I couldnt even reach the next serve, so I lost. 10-8 fricking shit.
So the last set was like, a washout, you cant fricking play squash with your stomach and wrist in severe pain. I lost 9-1, not much to say, except ****.
Well, its not Bryan Nah's fault. Its probably fate, since tragedy involves some kind of fate. Well, screw it.

Something seems to be wrong with me. I don't feel very energetic. Not because i dont get enough sleep, although i don't mind sleeping for a few extra hours daily. I'm not sure why to be honest. Its 3.12 now, and I feel like sleeping like.. until tomorrow; skipping dinner and everything. My knee is also bugging me. The joint there is like, always hurting, except sometimes it hurts more than other times. Squash makes it worse. Mr Joesph Wong, the ex-squash teacher goes by the maxim "the lower you bend, the more dangerous you are" I can't stand bending that low. Geddit haha dots. Maybe I have one of those old-person joint problems. Hm.. Gah. I'm having a slight headache and my eyes are so dry and they are starting to hurt. Bleah. This is not some gory story that Paul likes to write. No, seriously.

Haha, today was the rp voice test, found out that i cant go for the syf production cos the syf rehersals are on saturday and my cathechism class is on saturday too. Never mind, I guess theres always next year. And dramafeste. So, anyway, at the voice test, they make you sit in a boxed out portion of the floor and wait for your turn. When its your turn, you go in front of this electric piano, and well, its basically like the choir selections, except theres no Cheng Ban to squeal "YUU-YOR-YUUUUU" at your face.
Haha apparently i have "quite a big range" cool. haha. im going to like. find sth to eat bb :)

Sports in the Weekend
The first grand slam of the year, the Australian Open is in full swing. Reaching the quarter-finals are many excellent players such as Roger Federer, who disposed of young 21 year old Novak Djokovic 6-2 7-5 6-3 in less than 2 hours. Joining him will be Andy Roddick, who currently holds the world record for the fastest serve set at the Stella Artois Queens Cup. Roddick beat Croat Mario Ancic in a 5 set thriller, and will play against, coincidentally, his good friend Mardy Fish. Also in the last 8 are Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, James Blake, Tommy Robredo, Tommy Haas and Thomas Berdych.
Over to soccer, Fulham leave it late AGAIN, scoring an 84th minute goal against Tottenham. Ironically, after scoring in the 94th minute in the recent league cup, and 91st minute against West Ham in the EPL to claim a win and a draw respectively, it was Tottenham who robbed them of 3 points, through an 88th minute Chimbonda goal. Jan Lastuvka is having a good time in goal for Fulham so far, but I tiao you ah, when Niemi comes back, he's going to make that bench **** warm ;)
The other big talking point of the weekend was Liverpool vs Chelsea, in which Chelsea, the multi-million dollar machine, was mutilated mercilessly. I mean, if you look at their lineup you will be like.. whattt? Who is their manager, Paul Chew? Buy everyone you think is good and mash them together? And putting Essien in defence is just ridiculous. Maybe Mourinho should have experimented with a backline of 3, how about that? He could have fitted Ashley Cole as left back, Paulo Ferreira as a lone center back instead. As he has more midfielders avaliable, there would be no problems staffing a 5 or 6 man midfield, which, in turn could cover as makeshift defenders when being forced backwards.
Well, here's something random from me, the team of the weekkkk :)
formation: 4-1-3-2 (or rather an adapted 442)
GK: Jan Lastuvka (Niemi's injured remember?) Fulham
LB: Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Tottenham
CB (no its not an expletive): Jamie Carragher, Liverpool
CB: Callum Davenport, West Ham
RB: Pascal Chimbonda, Tottenham
DMF: Claude Makelele, Chelsea
RMF: Seol Ki Heon, Reading
LMF: Nigel Quashie, West Ham
AMF: Gabriel Agbonlahor, Aston Villa
SS: Dirk Kuyt, Liverpool
CF: Dimitar Berbatov, Tottenham
as you can see, I support Tottenham and Fulham. haha maybe you couldnt have seen it, but yeah i do.

Haha ever since sec1 when Leon and I hopped aboard the rp train, I have never ever auditioned. So this was weird. Leon auditioned for Us and Them last year, and I volunteered for crew because of the lame squash competition in which there were 5 schools and we were 4th. And that was Nationals.
Went for auditions, slightly nerve-racking, but the presence of friends and evident-inferiors do boost my confidence. Like, even Sec1s are doing it, shouldnt be that bad. But anyway, on thursday (a 3rd lang day) there was quite a big difference in the number of people than on Friday. If I'm not wrong, theres this Indo-S'porean Sec 1(the only Sec 2(1), ahaha get the lame english - the only sec one one haha), Kaushik, Zaki, Leon, Shu Kiat, and these three weird guys who I never knew in my entire life would go for auditions.
Anyway, when I went to "morally support" Geoffrey and Ben Yap, and oh.. yes Zhongren. Yes, the Zhongren from my class, not some prc scholar. There was also half the tennis team, including Ernest and lots os Sec1s. I mean like almost 15 or so. On thursday there was 1. 1!!
Haha, so for those dying to know what happened, which is unlikely, unless you are Bryan Tsui who gallivants (is that correct usage, i thought it looked cool, sry) around the whole world annocing how he wants to join Raffles Players, and then when it comes for auditions, he offers excuse after excuse. I guess he's just a big, tough looking piece of courage-less Tsui. I mean, at least try and audition since you are dying to join rp, BEN YAP AUDITIONED, FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
k, anyway, when you first go into the english studio, you sit in front of a 5 person panel comprising Ms Quah, 2 other teachers from rp (Who the ** are they, Ive never seen them before), Anish and Nabil. (the rp exco people might rotate, I'm not sure). They will ask you mandatory questions about your commitments etc, cos they dont want people with piano lesson and tuition and cca and winning eleven at home, (I'm truly sorry Paul), whether you can sing (YES, THEY ARE HAVING A MUSICAL! I hope I get a part there too :) )
Finally, before your dramatisation, they will ask you some questions about the script (monologue) and what emotions the character is going through and all that. To seperate the lit students from the triple science ahhh (im so bad, sorry again)
So then you have to dramatize the monologue, and if you "make the cut" so to speak they will ask you to do a dialogue. Byap didnt make it past the firsdt paragraph according to him, oh well. Anyway, the 5 of us plotted the order of auditioning so we could choose partners (except for Leon, Anish forced him to do dialogue with the Sec1 who "pronouces things with an ang-moh accent like, "can you pass the warder" haha" (like, boy ah, its WA-TER)
So, Zaki did with Kaushik and I did with Shu Kiat yay.
We're not gay.
Anyway we turned it into a comedy.
As in, on purpose, la.
The panel seemed to laugh quite a bit.
Haha so now we're just waiting for the results. and also for the voice tests for the musicallll. :)

Lets try to blog in perfect english today.
Yes, I am feeling very much random today.
(in normal blog-glish i would be saying: "im like so random today" with caps lock permanantly switched off, but no, today is Blog Perfect English Day, so I shall do just that. I don't care im still leaving in the occasional :)s )
Yes, I am feeling very much random today.
Heh, today was the first ever CEP lesson in the entire year. What an impressive landmark; the school year just started ahaha :P. Guess what. We listened to Mrs Chor talk and talk about basic C++ for 2 hours: most of the stuff I had already learnt online, she gave us this list of websites to go to, oh well. In total she rambled on for 80 slides. 80! At least she's not as boring as normal com studies, there's a very evident absence of people who just want to wreck the lesson: everyone is a nice good boy who listens about how to enum variables and how to #include
Oh yes, we have 7 or 8 pages of homework, if I'm not wrong.
And that's the end of Blog Perfect English day, I'm not ever posting like this for like.. ever. Wait do you see an error in the previous sentence? Multiple fullstops come in 3s not 2s. Well...

Third Day
Packed all our rubbish and went for land expedition hahaha. Walked here, walked there in search of little white cards around ubin. =.= Yeah, i think they purposely made us walk past this luxurious looking country club with all these professional camping stuff, like tents. The people there got tents. We got this piece of tarp and some plastic sheets. Bleah. In the end after walking and walking and walking we finally reached the obs reservoir, yayy. Boon Hwee said there was no shelter if it cat 1 rained, so we better pray that it didnt rain or our bashas were like.. dead. And guess what, it didnt rain ahahahaha.
4th Day
Sea expedition!...
... was the most stupid waste of energy in my entire life.
The navigator from 3Q didnt bring a compass, so we were spending our time lolling around the mangrove swamp, going in circles.
My partner was MARK TAN, this "Air Rifle"-er who apparently has as much arm strength as a piece of bread. I mean, every few seconds he has to take a break, and tell me "oh im ruddering" like every time i catch him taking unauthorised breaks. So basically I had to paddle 9/10th or the whole journey, you should try.
On a happier note, I saw lots and lots of rhyzophora in the mangrove swamp! hehheh Blow, im the bio student remember?
---
haha i should scan the photo of Tock Seng but its under the plastic under my desk i haf to rip it apart (the plastic, silly) to get the photo, so i'll see what i can do haha.

I'm Back, I'm Back, I'm Backkkkk
Finally back from 5 days of OBS, haha :)
Thought it would be quite stupid at first because i was in a 3Q watch but haha after 5 days, now im really good friends with half of 3Q, and 3 other people from MY OWN CLASS. Like, what the hell. Anw, our watches are named after famous Singaporeans, (those who went to camp 2 first have watches named afer explorers), and our watch was called, TOCK SENG hahaha. Like, you know, Tan Tock Seng :O
First Day
After arriving at obs and meeting our instructor Jonathan, and all that stuff, we dumped our stuff at this nice domitory (nice for a dorm, i dont mean like apartment standard la) and went to eat, after tt we did "team-building" trust activities like the very cliched trust fall, but it was quite fun. After that we did belay school, which is basically an intro to belaying. You know, the guy who pulls the rope when another guy is climbing? Haha yeah. Anw, Yi Shu from my watch (haha sounds like Tissue), the choir one who seems to be gay, was going ard like..
"Squeeze Check" (proceeds to try and squeeze someones youknowwhere)
"Pull Check" (tries to pull the same guy in the same place)
"Climb On" oh my **** that is like so sick
ahaha
for the night we were supposed to sleep in bashas that we pitched earlier, but it HEAVY HEAVY rained (cat 1) at ard 2 and we ran back to the dorms to sleep in beds. Bashas are basically a blue tarp roof above the ground, and u put groundsheets inside and sleep. haha. Oh on second thought, I wonder why they call it cat 1, when its raining cats and dogs, like, the dogs leh?
Second Day
Did kayaking in the morning, while it was raining haha. Did capsize drill and the TX rescue thing, which was fun cos i can rescue my kayak with no help from my partner MARK TAN, and the mandatory help from Ben Low and Yishu. After that we packed bagpacks of our stuff and headed for the dreaded camp 2, aka the primitive metal strung together to resemble a camp.
After that did rock climbing on the much smaller wall, but not climbing the huge wall at camp one wasnt such a big miss, it was still fun. Plus, we got to go many many times and got to do all the parts, climber, belayer, rope manager and anchor so that was quite ok too.
Pitched out bashas in this stupid place 100 steps above the main camp (WE COUNTED THE STEPS LO, SO BORED) and cooked out instant noodles and ate hahaha. Oh yeah, we forgot to take along the rice, isnt that good. Haha, dont worry, we didnt starve. We were quite full. Learnt how to read maps haha, and while we were at that some wild dog came and carried/chewed/threw two of our food bags into this imba muddy field so there went our Milo packets and our Khong Guan haha.
haha we were supposed to sleep in our bashas again, but then it started cat 1 raining again, so off we went to the shelter to sleep haha.
haha i shall post more later, now im going to play play play, i really miss this tablet pc. haha

When the clock struck 12, cinderella was rushing home in her mutated pumpkin wearing one shoe with a prince ridiculous enough to fall in love with a maid chasing her. Unfortunately, all the good boys and girls participating in Singapore's great Educational System of the Future were not there to witness the amazing spectacle or stupidity, as they were all tucked up in bed cos the next day, THEY HAD TO WAKE UP AT **** AT LEAST 5 TO 6+ IN THE MORNING SO THAT THEY COULD GO TO SCHOOL! WOW!
Haix. Its 9 something now, so that means a few more hours of crapping around (I WANT TO WATCH CSI AT 10) and then its time for a nice long sleep that wont come for a long, long long long long long long time. When school starts theres not much to look forward to except OBS, hmm, and new classmates blah blah, and even cep haha. Although some might say we can replace the cep teacher with an electronic book reader, i think its not that bad. Haha, there must be someting wrong with my mind. Either that, or I fear the wrath of the Public Domain.
Everything you say on your public blog can and will be used against you especially if Mrs Smith decides to google her name or maybe the names of some of her close-friend teachers and stumbles upon this.
The thing I hate about school is that when it starts you're all happy and you resolve to do this and that, and you try to be organised, try to finish your work, and then as it drags on, like what the hell. Its like my 3 new pairs of shoes, 3! Two squash shoes (you'd be surprised how battered my existing squash shoes look. They look like crap. Enough said. Anyway, now they are breathtakingly white, but i can bet with you, with all those 5k runs, and all that crappy training, they are going to look like their predecessors now. Oh yeah, I tore a sock while wearing it today. I feel so sad, I had it since p5 cool. That goes into my museum of collectable crap antiques-to-be.
This is such a long, long long post, its almost as long as Nigel's 1000 IQ thesises on his blog haha. I dont think i can be as free as this next year. WAIT. This year bleah.
