Wigan:
I predict: 17th.
Heres a short rundown of the Wigan 1st team as far as my memory goes:
(4-4-2)
Chris Kirkland, Arjan De Zeeuw, Fitz Hall, Emerson Boyce, Paul Scharner, Denny Landzaat, Luis Valencia, Andreas Johansson, Sveltoslav Todorov, Henri Camara.

hehehe lets try my hand at Paul's ultimate fantasy, sports journalism..
Presenting:

WIGAN IN FOR A WOEFUL EPL CAMPAIGN
by like.. me who else could write such crap?

Last years goal haul and massive premership campaign came due to a equally massive goal haul between left back Pascal Chimbonda, midfielder Jimmy Bullard and strikers Jason Roberts and Henri Camara. The quad has since seperated, with Chimbonda, the attack-minded defender leaving for Tottenham, Midfield beast Bullard leaving for Fulham and Jason Roberts leaving for bitter rivals Blackburn. Also a cause for concern is Henri Camara, who failed to find his form ever since returning from the African Cup of Nations midway thru the 05-06 season.

Paul Jewell has brought in gifted ex-Portsmouth upfront terror Svetoslav Todorov, and unknown striker Dave Cotterhill, but neither have been very effective in the first few matches of the season. In fact, Wigan have only picked up 3 points out of 3 matches so far, recently only edging out a plucky Reading; a team with neither top class players, nor a very charismatic Manager in Steve Coppell. A narrow scoreline of 1-0 was not a reflection of Hahnemann's heroics in goal, but the lack of finish in front of it by the waning strikeforce of the Latics.

No goals means no go in the EPL, and wins only against the teams at Davy Jones locker of the EPL means a lack of precious points; points that can and will steer the Latics out of the relegation depths of the dangerous ocean of Coke.
Nobody wishes to be exiled from the prestegious EPL to the wilderness of the English Coca Cola Championship, and that is where Wigan seems to be headed.

Their only saving grace is the creativity and vision of long serving Lee McCulloch, Experienced fullback Arjan de Zeeuw, and the equally commendable Chris Kirkland who has come back from injury which has hindered him at both Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion, his two former clubs.

Wigan will finish 17th, just above the relegation zone, after a very roller-coasterlike season with many bad results and a very spirited charge out of the drop zone at the dying moments of the season.
